Aom Tamnanka
FOUNDER
As an architect, entrepreneur, and founder of design and lifestyle ventures in Thailand and Singapore, Aom has always believed that creating a business or starting something new as a woman is both deeply rewarding and uniquely challenging.
In many cultures and societies, women are expected to carry the responsibilities of family, caregiving, and household roles—while at the same time pursuing their own dreams. For women, success often means doing everything in parallel: building a career, caring for loved ones, and finding space for self-growth. This reality makes the path to success especially demanding.
From her own experience, Aom has come to see that women understand one another’s journeys in a way no one else can. By coming together, sharing experiences, and supporting each other, women can create the strength to carry forward—not only for themselves but also as inspiration for others.
Her vision is to build a space where women can combine strength, empathy, and possibility, proving that success is not only about individual achievement but about lifting one another along the way.

Background
In her personal life, Aom is a mother of two and is deeply committed to building a life where family and career can grow side by side. She values quality time with loved ones, believes in intentional living, and has designed her lifestyle to balance creativity, business, and family presence.
Professionally, Aom is the Founder and Managing Director of HUES Development Co., Ltd. in Chiang Mai, an architecture and interior design studio that has led numerous residential, hospitality, and community projects. Her design philosophy centers on empathy, functionality, and creating spaces that reflect the lives of those who live in them.
Her work has been recognized with multiple international awards and has been featured in leading design magazines, including the Asia Architecture Design Award 2025 for Residential Architecture for the Run Ga Run Home Studio in Chiang Mai.
Beyond design, Aom is also developing “Woman in B”, a personal brand and platform that focuses on women in business and the balance between work, family, and self. This initiative connects naturally with Women for Women, as both share the mission of empowering women and building supportive networks across cultures.
Barbara Morf
FOUNDER
Newly retired in Chiang Mai, Barbara envisions Women for Women as a network that will create meaningful impact on the role of women in society.
With more than 40 years as an entrepreneur in Hospitality and Coaching, she has mainly worked with women-led teams and has seen how often women underestimate their own potential or hesitate to take on leadership roles.
Her wish is to support and inspire women. She believes that within a community of powerful women, members can help each other grow—while also empowering underprivileged women to access education and develop their full potential.
Recognizing the value of cross-cultural perspectives, Barbara and Aomcame together to establish this organisation, creating a platform where women can connect, collaborate, and make lasting impact together.

Background
In her private life, Barbara is married to a wonderful man who is a passionate hobby cook, and together they have brought their senior dog to Chiang Mai. She loves hiking, traveling, exploring food culture, and spending quality time with friends. Living in Thailand has long been her dream, and she is now enjoying the life she always wished for.
Over the course of her 40-year career, Barbara built several successful companies.
She is the founder of a Sales and Marketing Representation company in Switzerland, which expanded with offices in Germany, France, the UK, Poland, and China, representing luxury hotels from around the globe.
She is also a professional Coach, specializing in change management and vision work for small companies and individuals. Her expertise lies in helping clients articulate their vision, communicate it effectively, and guiding them step by step toward achieving their goals.
